Due to the outstanding response we have received, registrations for the Midget Age Group (Birth Years 87, 88, 89, & 90) being received are now being put on a waiting list. If another Midget player that is already registered cancels, we will contact those Midgets registering from this point on in the order in which we receive their registration. Other age groups still have a few more spots available, but those are going fast as well.
Due to the hundreds of requests we have received, The Alliance Youth Hockey Association is pleased to announce our Alliance Spring Training Camp 2005. For eight (8) weeks this spring, Alliance will provide the opportunity to train with our full staff of professional coaches to those of you that apply early.
“Although we are firm believers that the kids need a break from the game each and every off season, we feel the timing, duration, and make up of our program will compliment and enhance our participants' abilities without detracting from their love or desire to play this wonderful game.”
....Chris Kostopoulos, AYHA Director Of Coaches
Our camp will be conducted and operated directly by ALL current and future Alliance Coaches. Space will be limited to a workable number of players so our Coaches can spend more time in close individual instruction with each player. Our camp will focus on individual player skill development & on ice game instruction while continuously instilling the fun of the game.
ALL sessions of the eight week Training Camp will be held at our home rink and Training Facility, the Dr. Pepper StarCenter in Valley Ranch. In addition, the camp will include the following features:
“This program was designed specifically to improve each players on ice capabilities during the spring try-out season, but concludes early enough in the spring to allow for a meaningful, rejuvenating summer for everyone involved – players & coaches!!”
This program will be used as a showcase and recruitment tool for future Alliance players as well as an opportunity for EXPOSURE to MINOR and MAJOR MIDGET AAA COACHES including:
Registration will be limited to a specific number of players per age group, and will only be available on-line via the Alliance web site.
