Illusion Sports Productions
Monday, July 25, 2005 In Memory...
On Sunday, June 12, 2005, Neil Amy, owner of Illusion Sports Productions and hockey play-by-play announcer, passed away. Neil was on his regular morning run when he suffered a fatal heart attack. Neil was a permanent fixture at the Highland Park High School Hockey games, where he video broadcasted all HP Scot games. He also video broadcasted many other DFW area sporting events, including the 2005 Dallas Cup Tournament.
All Alliance players, coaches, and families join the Highland Park Scots and the rest of the DFW hockey family in offering our most sincere condolences to the Amy family for the loss of Neil. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
If you care to send a note to the Amy family, their address is listed below. No game tapes will be available until further notice. An announcement will be made here on the Alliance web site when a decision is made about game tape availability.
