Alliance Seeks Volunteers for 2009 National Championships…

 

When the official hosts and sites for the 2009 USA Hockey National Championships were announced last fall by USA Hockey, the Alliance Youth Hockey Association was selected to host the 14 & Under Bantam Tier I and Tier II Championships in Frisco, Texas April 1-5, 2009.

 

Alliance would like to provide opportunities to be involved not only to Alliance players, coaches, and families, we would also like to see that every youth hockey association in the DFW metroplex be represented on the volunteer staff as well.  The benefits of hosting this event extend not only to the host association and its participating teams, but also to the other local associations and the community at large.

 

With that in mind, Alliance needs to know about those that would be interested in volunteering to help.  Indicated below is a brief form that indicates some of the volunteer opportunities associated with the event.  More information about other opportunities to volunteer will be posted here as that information becomes available, and as we move closer to the date of the Championships.

 

For each tier (I & II), 12 teams (Eleven District Champions along with a host team) will gather in Frisco to determine a National Champion for the 14&Under Bantam Division.   A total of 24 teams from all across the United States will be participating in the championships at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter Frisco.
