'Dogs Take Crown in St. Louis, Good Weekend for Bulldog Teams...
The big winner was the 14U Bantam AAA team, as they went undefeated with a 5-0-0 record and won the Top Flight Tournament Championship in St. Louis. The Mite Preps also went undefeated at 4-0-0 in Kansas City at the KC Stars Mite Jamboree.

Bantam AAA Splits 4 at Philadelphia Silver Sticks...
Alliance – 5, Team Maryland - 3: The 14U Bantam AAA team opened the Silver Stick AAA Regional tournament on Friday against Team Maryland in Philadelphia. The Bulldogs went up fast and were ahead 3 – 1. Team Maryland scored to quick goals in the 2nd and the game was tied headed into the 3rd. The Bulldogs fought hard and scored 2 more to get the win. With a victory of 5 – 3, the Bulldogs were off to a great start.
Philly Jr. Flyers - 6, Alliance – 1: On Saturday morning, the Bulldogs faced the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers. It was a defensive game for the first 2 periods of play. The Jr. Flyers got 3 quick goals late in the 3rd to win the game 6 – 1.
Alliance – 5, Valley Forge - 1: Saturday night was a must win to advance, the Bulldogs came in ready to play against the Valley Forge Minutemen. After a scoreless 1st period, Alliance took the lead in the 2nd with a score of 2 – 1. With only 11 skaters going into the 3rd, the Bulldogs pulled out their arsenal and took down the Minutemen with a score of 5 – 1.
Mid-Fairfield - 7, Alliance – 2: The Bulldogs headed into the Quarter Finals against the Mid-Fairfield Blues. Alliance skated hard and fought through but finished short against the Blues with a score of 7 – 2.
Although the team would have like to go deeper into Sunday, the weekend was a great start to the season.
