Please note that the only rankings being posted here are the 16U & 18U Tier I AAA Midgets from United States High School Hockey Online. The rankings from the National Hockey Rankings (NHR) web site will no longer be posted or recommended.
The current NHR rankings are derived from numerous incorrect game results, games not played between the indicated teams, etc. They have teams listed that do not exist, teams in the wrong divisions, and games intermingled with the wrong teams - thus making their rankings totally and completely invalid. Alliance has repeatedly requested that they make corrections to their web site, but they have not responded. We have also requested that they remove all Alliance teams from their web site.
The USHSHO is the premier Midget Hockey Ranking site, concentrates solely on ranking Midget Tier I teams, has a frequent error checking and correction process, and is deemed by Alliance to be the most accurate. They do not rank Bantams or younger. To see the process they use for ranking teams, click HERE.
Midget Minor Tier I (U16AAA)...
Indicated below are the 2006-2007 rankings of the Top 20 Midget Minor U16 Tier I AAA Teams as determined by the United States High School Hockey Online web site. The rankings include a total of 143 teams.
Teams with a dot next to their name are in the 2007 Dallas Cup Invitational.

Midget Major Tier I (U18AAA)...
Even though the Alliance 18U Prep team is a Tier II team, not a Tier I or AAA team, they have been ranked in the Tier I AAA rankings due to the fact they they have competed mostly against other Tier I AAA 18U teams during tournament play.
