About Alliance Hockey...

Alliance Youth Hockey Association (AYHA) was originally established to provide an elite travel "A" program at the Squirt, Peewee, and Bantam levels.  Alliance's inaugural year, the 2001-2002 season, was so successful, that Alliance added a Midget team for the 2002-2003 season.  Since then we have continued to upgrade our offerings, both in quantity and quality, as we now currently field 15 teams at the A, AA, and AAA levels

In our first 5 seasons, Alliance has sent 5 teams to the USA Hockey National Championships, won 5 Rocky Mountain District Championships, won 10 State Championships, and won 11 League Championships.  In 2004, both the U14 and U12 teams each brought home Bronze Medals from the 2004 National Championships.  For more information, see Alliance Accomplishments.

AYHA encompasses the "Alliance" of coaches, players, and parents to ensure proper player education and development to successfully compete at the highest level and maintain the integrity of the game of hockey.

In 2004-2005, Alliance added Tier I teams for the first time, and both teams (U14 and U16) won their respective Rocky Mountain District Championship and advanced to the USA Hockey Nationals.  For the 2006-2007 season, the Bulldogs added a 12U Tier I AAA PeeWee Team for the first time.  Alliance’s primary strength they have become known for in the hockey community is their high quality, experienced, and professional coaching.

For more information, see www.alliancehockey.org.

About Alliance Coach Jaz Hayden...

Jaz Hayden began playing hockey at the age of 4 in Welland, Ontario, Canada. He played AAA hockey from the age of 7 until the age of 15 for the Welland Tigers Organization.  After minor hockey, he joined the Thorold Blackhawks Junior organization where he played 5 years and became the team’s all-time leading scorer, accumulating 380 points in 180 games.

His coaching experience consists of 3 years with the Dallas Ice Hawks Organization at the Bantam level, and 5 years of instruction at the Con Tech hockey camp in Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada.  At this camp he was able to be an instructor for Dan Paille, a first round pick of the Buffalo Sabres (20th overall) in the 2002 NHL draft.

About Houston Wild Hockey...

The Houston Wild is affiliated with the Houston Junior Aeros Hockey Association (HJAHA), which was initially formed in the 1980’s.   HJAHA is governed by a set of bylaws and rules that are managed by a volunteer board of directors with representatives from each of its 14 teams (Mite to Midget Major).   The most skilled HJAHA teams play at the AA level of the Peewee, Bantam, Midget Minor, and Midget Major age divisions as the “Houston Wild”.

Wild teams participate in the AA divisions of NTXHL, and play in AAA and AA invitational tournaments throughout the U.S. and Canada.   Houston Wild teams will play 45-50 games this season, which includes league play (~25 games) as well as invitational tournaments in Chicago, Colorado, Hershey, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, and Vancouver to name a few.

Houston Wild teams have won 2 State Championships and 5 League Championships, while HJAHA teams have won over 30 League Championships.  The Houston Wild U14 and U16 Tier II teams finished the 2005-06 season ranked 20th and 24th in the country, respectively.   The U16 Tier II team finished 2nd at the Rocky Mountain District Tournament after falling one goal short in the championship game.

About Ice Hawks Coach Jeremy Worob...

Jeremy Worob moved to Florida from New Jersey 9 years ago and immediately began his coaching career.  Last season was a huge success.  In fact, Nationalhockeyrankings.com ranked his team as the 7th Tier 2 Bantam team in the country and with 8 returning players at the Midget level, is enjoying another great year.

Jeremy is very involved with hockey in Florida.  He is the ACE Coordinator for his association and was recently asked to join Florida's Player Development Committee.  This past summer, Jeremy represented the Southeast District at the USA Hockey National Player Development Camp as a Select 14 Team Leader.

About Hyland Hills Jaguars Hockey…

The Hyland Hills Hockey Association (HHHA) is in its 37th season having been founded in 1970.  Located in Westminster, Colorado the Hyland Hills Jaguars have close to 700 members that comprise 43 travel, house and 8U teams.  The 17 Jaguars travel teams play at the AA, A, B and C levels as part of the Colorado Competitive Youth Hockey League (CCYHL). The 14 house teams are part of the local Denver North Hockey League (DNHL). The 12 8U teams play in-house only through December and play other CCYHL teams in an abbreviated travel league from January through March.

The HHHA was a relatively small hockey club up until 2000 when they moved to the $14M Ice Centre at the Promenade with its 3 sheets of ice.  This allowed the club to grow from ~200 members to the near 700 it is today.

Hyland Hills has won a number of CCYHL league championships and Colorado State championships at all levels. HHHA has won 3 Rocky Mountain District Championships including the 2006 Midget Major AA division. The Jaguars have won 4 Rocky Mountain Silver Stick championships.  Most of the success (championships) has come since 2000, but way back in the late 80s Hyland Hills won the prestigious Fargo Squirt Invitational tournament.

The HHHA is also home of the Colorado Outlaws AAA hockey club.  After 4 years of successful teams including 4 Rocky Mountain District championships, the HHHA joined with the Colorado Thunderbirds for the 2006-2007 season to create a unified AAA club amongst other CCYHL member clubs.  The Outlaws AAA teams still operate for the Squirt, PeeWee and Bantam age levels during the spring and summer months.

For more information, visit our website at www.hhha.org

Brian’s 12 years of coaching experience includes College teams in the American Collegiate Hockey Association, Junior A teams in the North American Hockey League and the Midget Minor AAA Colorado Outlaws.  Brian conducts individual and group clinics to help players improve skills and strength.  I addition to his coaching, Brian has served as Assistant Director of Hockey Operations at Hyland Hills Hockey Association for the last two years.  Brian also donates his time to local High School Club Hockey teams.
