The inaugural Alliance Bulldogs PeeWee A hockey team set it’s goal high when Alliance started its first season back in August – a Texoma League Championship.  After placing second during the regular season in the eight-team travel league of teams from Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, they were not favored to win the title, especially playing in the finals of the playoff tournament against a team they had not beaten all year

Championships are won in the last game of the season, not during the regular season, and the final game is when the Bulldogs put it all together at the right time to achieve their goal – Texoma PeeWee A Champions.  The Bulldogs, playing out of the Dr. Pepper StarCenter in Euless, compiled a record of 34-12-8 against some of the top teams from around the U.S. and Canada.

They made the finals in five tournaments, and brought home the title in three of them – including one of the largest in the country, the Dr. Pepper Texas Star Tournament.  In addition, they qualified for the prestigious International Silver Stick National Finals Tournament in Forest, Ontario where they competed against two teams from the U.S. and five from Canada for the North American Championship.

Coached by Chris Kostopoulos, a native of the Toronto, Ontario area, the Bulldogs are comprised of eighteen boys 11 to 12 years old from thirteen different cities in the metroplex area.
